Twitter went blank for several users in India on Sunday as Downdetector reported 2,838 outages at 7pm. This indicates a widespread issue affecting many users in this country.

Twitter was down on only Andriod handsets, but some users claimed the app was working on some network and was down on other. One Twitter user claimed Twitter was working fine with VPN connection.

Twitter Blue is a new, improved version of Twitter that was relaunched on December 12th. It allows users to edit their tweets, upload 1080p videos, and get a blue tick after their verification.
